Today was unfortunately the end of this year's New York Comic Con. The weekend was in one word AMAZING. From Capcom's incredible showcase with Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Streetfighter X Tekken to the uncanny amount of comic vendors the show was filled.
This years show was bigger and better then ever before. It included more games (i.e. Nintendo's booth) and movies (i.e. The Avengers) then last year which made the crowd one of the biggest ever. Blimp creators Jason Hulse (@JASONHULSE) and Joe Regina (@joe_regina) were there to take it all in and spread the word about Blimp's upcoming releases. Although most of their time was spent knuckles deep in comic boxes they also handed out cards and picked up sticks with the best of them at Capcom's booth. On Friday some lucky attendees got their hands on an NYCC exclusive Blimp card (see posts below) with a comic on the back. Then, on Saturday hundreds of people received Blimp ad cards. All in all, Blimp made its presence known this past weekend.
Even with all the new and exciting showcases the core of the weekend is still comics. The amount of comic vendors, companies, writers, and artists was almost mind-numbing. So it was only fitting that Blimp was there. More details and pictures on what Blimp's creators were actually doing at NYCC will be coming later.
